WILD TALKS: Voices for Asian Animals with Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand

On February 21, 2024 Asia Wild launched WILD TALKS, an online monthly speaker series featuring experts from the frontline of wildlife conservation in Asia. 🌏🌿 Tune in as Asia Wild Executive Director, Jill Darcy Moore, presents Asia Wild’s most recent grantees and interviews Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) Founder and Director, Edwin Wiek. 🐵🌳 WFFT runs a Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre and an Elephant Refuge for abused, injured, and exploited wild animals in Thailand. In 2023, Asia Wild granted WFFT $100,000 to rescue 50 Gibbons and 18 Macaques. This emergency grant supported the rescue of animals at risk of being sent to a tourist zoo after their previous caretaker tragically passed away.
