In contrast to Henley Brook Bus Station right on the edge of the Ellenbrook suburbia, a few bus stands in the town centre next to the shopping centre act as the terminus and a major transfer point for many local and connecting routes. This video talks about the history of Ellenbrook and its transport services with bus spotting at these bus stands. We also visit the other Ellenbrook terminus at Malvern Springs and take a ride on the very short route 334 between Malvern Springs and these bus stands, not even to a proper train or bus station! However, with the opening of the Ellenbrook train line, both these bus stands and Henley Brook Bus Station will likely close, with buses redirected to the bus interchange at the new train station, which is also seen in this video after a quick walk to it from the bus stands. UPDATE DECEMBER 2024: With the opening of the Ellenbrook Line, the transfer point for buses in Ellenbrook has moved to the new Ellenbrook train station which is also shown in this video, and Henley Brook Bus Station is closed.
