WATCH IN HD! Story line Loki returns to Asgard after trying to conquer Earth. Odin offers Loki a deal; a lifetime in prison or an arranged marriage. Loki begrudgingly chooses the marriage proposal. Sigyn is the princess of Muspelheim. A kingdom of fire. Content with her homeland and future to be Queen. Sigyn's father - Surtur - tells her she is to be married to one of the Princes of Asgard. Asgard and Muspelheim have been enemies for centuries. The marriage will cause an alliance. As well as the marriage, Muspelheim will be allowed to use the Bifrost whenever they wish and Asgard will be able to use Muspelheim's army. The fiercest fighters and warriors in all the realms. Sigyn is appalled and furious at the chance of being Queen demolished and her sold away as a pawn in an alliance. Sigyn arrives at Asgard with two months till the marriage. Loki is determined to hate Sigyn and vice versa with Sigyn. Both are complete opposites and loathe each other. They get married, both to their distaste. Loki and Sigyn fight constantly. Until their feelings start to change. Sigyn finds out about Loki's true form of a frost giant, revealing that he will never get the throne. By then she doesn't care, realising she is in love with him and Loki loves her back. The couple seems in bliss until Sigyn takes the Eternal Flame (Muspelheim's lifeforce which was taken by Odin centuries ago) with her army back to Muspelheim, all framing it on Loki. Loki is heartbroken and betrayed upon learning Sigyn's ploy. Sigyn confirms she never lied about loving him. She stops her plan but Loki is arrested and sentenced to death. Sigyn reveals at the trial that she is pregnant and Loki is horrified at what his child will become. Loki is granted lifetime imprisonment at Sigyn's request. Sigyn tries to make up with Loki over her betrayal but although Loki still loves Sigyn, he cannot forgive her transgression. The Dark Elves come into play and Asgard falls under attack. Thor recruits Loki's help and escapes him out of prison. Sigyn finds out and desperately tries to get to Loki but is locked into her rooms. Thor comes home without Loki and a guard (who is actually Loki) tells Sigyn he died. Stricken by grief, Sigyn has a miscarriage and falls into despair. Soon after, Sigyn sees Odin transform into Loki and realises he isn't dead.
