This is where the magic happens, folks. Well, some of it, anyway. A walk-through of the Outer Galaxy underground chill lair from this past December. A few aesthetic and shelving changes have been made since this recording, but it's essentially the same layout as seen here. This video got a partial copyright claim for a minute of background music from the TV/stereo, but I replaced that bit with some generic Latin jazz from the Youtube free music library. That's why you'll hear a temporarily louder and jarring bit of filler music in the middle of the video. I'm not going to allow some jerks to monetize my own video just because of ambient music. Sick of that crap. In the video you'll see the stereo component cabinet and the walk-in interior closet access to the back of the system for easy manipulation of the wiring system -- all designed and built by me many years ago. The cabinet was never designed for an HDTV, yet the smallest HDTV does fit perfectly there. The rest of the room contains an ample library of books -- classic novels and history, mostly ... I read a lot -- and some of the CD collection, the remaining few vinyl LPs, and a hint of the DVD/blu rays; which are mostly in cabinets or behind the drapes. Not everything is shown here. It's a snug, walkable room stuffed with media goodies that constitute the great Outer Galaxy Lounge Library of Humanity's art and culture. Also as a love den, the site of some memorable trysts and assignations in the past. But, we live the life of the mind now.
