Recording date: 10th of July 2022 Dublin Airport: I was passing through shortly after the travel chaos of Dublin Airport in the spring of 2022. Thankfully we did not have much issue getting through security, however we were still left with little time to wander around the shops. We actually arrived before check-in started, so we were waiting about 15 minutes for it to start. Originally we were to depart via Pier E in Terminal 2, but got relocated to gate 301 a short while later. Takeoff was quick and efficient. Alicante Airport: Arrivals was very quick. Gate C36 is very close to passport control so it wasn't a far walk to the baggage carousels. Baggage reclaim was quick, likewise for the hire car pickup. Alicante Airport is my favourite airport I've flown to and from and always has been; its open-plan layout with natural lighting gives it a very nice atmosphere, albeit with the echoey PA.
