According to new reports from Insider Gaming's Mike Straw who has previously been right with several scoops ahead of WWE 2K22, 2K Sports are claimed to be holding a special WWE 2K23 preview event later this month at the Royal Rumble. The report claims that 2K are planning to hold a hands-on event on January 28th in San Antonio, TX where players in attendance will be able to try and select matches from this years 2K Showcase. Also teased in the article is a brand new game mode, as Mike's source claims that a new mode will also be revealed for players to try at the upcoming event. Following the reveal, Mike claims that a second announcement is planned for February 1st, though he doesn't have information on what this reveal will include.
