Happy 2024 everyone! See ya never 2023! The past year was hands down the hardest year of my life. Managing new treatments, emergency surgery, hospitalizations for leg collapsing, gaslighting, managing the worst symptoms ever and missing my old self. Bye to all that. I received bilateral tmj injections as I have severe jaw instability from CCI, which causes really difficult symptoms including severe dystonia, difficulty swallowing and feeling like I have a bone chunk in my throat when I swallow. I’m two months out now and I feel more jaw stability and have moments in the day with more tolerable swallowing symptoms YAY! I’m not a doctor.
