It is the oldest public garden in Mumbai. After Indian independence, it was named after Jijamata, the mother of Shivaji, the first Maratha emperor. Key Features of Ranibaug: 1. Zoo: The zoo houses a variety of animals, including lions, tigers, leopards, elephants, and exotic bird species. It has undergone modernization in recent years. 2. Botanical Garden: Spread over 53 acres, it contains a wide variety of trees and plants, some of which are rare and over a century old. 3.
