I am going to share with you the savings benefits of a Sam’s Club Plus Membership. There is one little known benefit that not many people know about that saves me over $1,500 per year alone. As this is my VERY favorite benefit, I am going to save the best for last! I am going to share with you how to sign up, the savings benefits from having this membership and how to get a discount for this annual membership. So let’s jump right in. Sam’s is a wholesale club that is part of Wal-Mart. They charge an annual membership fee and they provide certain discounts and benefits to their members much like Costco for example. You can usually take advantage of bulk discounts at these types of “warehouse” stores. You can buy anything from consumer electronics, clothing, food, pharmaceuticals, and many other products and services at these stores. While there has always been a benefit of buying in bulk and getting warehouse prices, this is more important now as inflation rises and everything has become way more expensive. Buying items in bulk can be a great way to make up for some of the increased prices. New members can join Sam's Club with a regular membership for $45, but in order to get the discounts I am going to share with you in this video you must have the Sam’s Plus membership which is $100 per year. However, you get this membership for less than $100. In a second, I am going to tell you ways you can get a single plan cheaper with discounts, but in case you are not able to use those discounts then here is a way you can get this membership cheap by paying the regular price. One way to do this is to get added to someone else’s plan or share with another person. The initial membership is $100, but you can add up to 16 more people to you plan for only $40 extra per person. So, for example, if you were to go in with just one other person then you would each get a membership for only $70 per year. Obviously, the more people you add the cheaper it will get. You can also check Groupon, they often have discounts on single memberships. Additionally, I believe at the time of the recording of this video (check with your local Sam’s to see if the deal is still running) they have a deal where new members get $45 off your first instore purchase of $45 or more, so this would be the equivalent of getting the membership for $55 but if you on your first trip you bought at least $45 worth of items you already needed anyways. If you have a membership you share with someone then the $70 would now be the equivalent of $25.00 with the $45 off your instore purchase. Lastly, even if you don’t have anyone to share it with, the savings I am going to show you in this video will more than make up for the full $100 annual membership. So, let’s talk some more about those benefits. If you are getting value out of this video, don’t forget to poke the like button. One benefit that I love is that for Sam’s Plus members you get 2% Sam’s Cash Back up to $500 per year. You get the benefit annually, so depending on how much you spend at the end of the year you basically get something to the equivalent of a Sam’s gift card meaning you don’t actually get cash, but an instore credit. This is for shopping in the actual store or curbside pick up. So up to $25,000 per year you would get 2% Sam’s Cash back. This makes a big difference on large purchases like a TV or even regular purchases over the year. What I love about this is you don’t have to do anything extra and it is just accruing in the background so you basically get a bonus at the end of the year.
