YT Decoy SN 29 – the new e-Jeffsy! Actual weight, geometry and travel

YT's latest e-bike is the Decoy SN 29. Think of it as the e-Jeffsy, to sit alongside the Decoy SN MX, which is more of an e-Capra. YT has repurposed 90% of the frame used for the burly Decoy SN MX I tested recently, changing the seatstays and the shock link to drop the travel to 140mm and accommodate the 29in rear wheel. It still uses the Fazua Ride 60 motor, producing 60Nm of torque and a maximum of 450w peak power, but it gets the new and bigger 480Wh battery, along with a more robust Mode Controller on the handlebars. The full carbon frame is available in 5 frame sizes and 3 build kits, with prices starting at £6,499 and topping out at £8,499. This model is the Core 3, sitting in the middle of the range, and costing £7,499. In this video I weigh the size large bike, measure all the geometry, and check the actual travel.
