This is a walk in Switzerland, Hospental 🚶‍♂️, a hidden pearl in the Central Swiss Alps, one of the most beautiful winter villages in Switzerland. Hospental is a calm and old village🏘️ with a few hundred inhabitants and lot of snow in winter, near the Gotthardpass on the german side of Switzerland. If you go through the Gotthardpass 🛣️to south, the next village is the italian speaking Airolo, still in Switzerland, Canton of Ticino. It is the neighbour village of Andermatt, the famous ski resort⛷️ in the canton of Uri. There is so much snow ❄️❄️❄️that the brook (Gotthardreuss) is almost not visible, and the fountains in the village are hidden behind snow hills. There is a ski slope above the village and the cross country ski trail between Realp and Andermatt goes through near the village. It is a perfect location to do winter holidays here in this pretty winter wonderland.
