www.facebook.com/ZEROSanAntonio San Antonio's first ZERO Prostate Cancer Run, hosted by Urology San Antonio, was a record-breaking success! Seven-forty-two people participated, and together we raised $110,000 for prostate cancer. Half of the money raised went to the nonprofit ZERO's national prostate cancer programs including co-pay assistance for advanced prostate cancer treatments, prostate cancer awareness and education campaigns, prostate cancer research studies and advocacy efforts to encourage lawmakers to support legislation that benefits prostate cancer patients. The other half of the money -- $42,750 -- stayed in the San Antonio community and to be distributed by Los Padres, the prostate cancer foundation that Dr. Juan Reyna and his wife Joni established, to fund local prostate cancer awareness activities and free community screenings. **Near the end of the video, Joni says men should be screened "monthly."
