"THE GREAT COMMISSION!" iz Sunday 2nd November 2025 Senior Pastor Elia Sipala • Matthew 28:19-20 This is the heartbeat of the gospel of Jesus Christ TO GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES. This is the GREAT COMMISSION! The Great Commission is given under the banner of the authority of Jesus Christ; and this is your licence to speak; this is your authority to preach the gospel! The core of the passage is the command to "make disciples". This involves more than just conversion. It requires bringing people into a committed relationship with Christ, submitting their minds, hearts, and wills to Him. God's Great Commission should not be thought of as optional, but compulsory. Not every church is required to reach every nation, but every church must play a part in discipling the nations! This is a mandate from a merciful God to His faithful Church to disciple the lost by going into the world and baptizing and teaching them to obey His commands. Isaiah 6:8 ~ "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying: Who should I send? Who will go for us? I said: Here I am. Send me". Christianity is a movement of 'GOING'» Not a movement of 'sitting"! Let's dedicate ourselves afresh to obeying Jesus and making disciples. UNTIL THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS: JESUS IS KING!
