Ocampo “Teacher Dina” is a Professor of Reading Education at the University of the Philippines College of Education in Diliman, Quezon City. Dr. Ocampo was the former Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction (Programs and Projects) of the Department of Education. She was also the former Dean of the UP College of Education. Dr. Ocampo has a doctorate degree in psychology which she earned from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. She majored in special education for her undergraduate degree, cum laude, and has a master’s degree in reading education. She earned both degrees from UP Diliman.
