I’m currently developing a library of operational aviation communication exercises, organized into multiple categories, using real recordings and realistic operational contexts. The focus is on how pilots actually need to listen and think when situations change, not on ICAO test prep or scripted phraseology. Inside the full library, each exercise includes: The original ATC recording Supporting PDFs Relevant charts (SIDs, STARs, airport diagrams, enroute charts) Context to help pilots understand what is driving the decisions being discussed This scenario looks at an unplanned airspace closure and how crews and controllers work through ambiguity before a clean clearance exists.
