Whenever needed, just take out your favourite of these 3 Snacks with Soya Chunks and fry it, grill it or toss it and serve! These 3 Snacks with Soya Chunks are Soya Cutlets, Soya Kebabs and Soya Chili Fry. These 3 Snacks with Soya Chunks make for excellent Party Starters too. Check out the recipes and let me know how you liked these vegetarian party Starters that are healthy and tasty too! @EmamiHealthyTasty Recipe: Soya Cutlet Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 3-4 Ingredients: To boil: 100g Soya Chunks 1 tbsp chopped garlic 1 tbsp chopped ginger ½ cup chopped onion 1 tsp soya sauce 2 bay leaves 2 black cardamoms 2” cinnamon stick 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar For the cutlets: ½ cup chopped carrot ½ cup chopped beans Salt to taste 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Cumin Powder 1 tsp Coriander Powder ½ cup Boiled Potato 1 tsp Garam Masala 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves Corn Flour Slurry Bread Crumbs as required Method: Boil the soya chunks with all the ingredients mentioned for 5-6 minutes. Allow to cool down and grind to a coarse paste. To a pan, add oil, onions, and sauté. Once the onions are transparent, add carrot, beans, soya mixture and mix well. Add powdered spices and cook for 3-4 mins. Remove from heat. Now add the mashed potatoes. Finish with coriander leaves and mix well. Shape patties of desired size. Dip the cutlets in corn flour slurry and roll it in breadcrumbs. Shallow fry the cutlets in medium hot oil until golden brown in color and serve. Soya Kebab Preparation time: 10 min Cooking time: 40 min Serves: 5-6 Ingredients: To boil: 1 cup Soya chunks 2 cups ½ cup soaked chana dal 1 ½ cup water Salt to taste 2 Dry red chili 2 Bayleaf 2” Cinnamon 4-5 Cloves 1 tsp Black pepper corns 4-5 Green cardamom ½ cup Onion chopped 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 7-8 Coriander stems 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste Salt to taste For kebabs: 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp garam masala powder ½ cup Onion chopped 2 tbsp coriander chopped 1 tbsp Green chilli chopped Oil to fry Green chutney Onion rings to serve Method: Cook the Soya Chunks with all the whole spices and chana dal, ginger, garlic, coriander stems and chopped onions with 2 cups water. Cook until the dal is cooked, excess moisture evaporates, and the mixture becomes dry. Allow to cool down completely. Grind to a smooth paste. Add salt to taste, powdered spices, ginger garlic paste,chopped onion, coriander, and green chillies. Mix everything together until well combined. Now, divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into tikkis. Heat up a flat pan and place the tikkis onto the pan. then add the oil and shallow fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy on the outside. Serve them with green chutney and onions Soya Chili Fry Preparation time: 10 min Cooking time: 40 min Serves: 5-6 Ingredients: FOR SOYA PREPARATION: To boil: 100g Soya Chunks 1 tbsp chopped garlic 1 tbsp chopped ginger ½ cup chopped onion 1 tsp soya sauce 2 bay leaves 2 black cardamoms 2” cinnamon stick 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar To toss: 4 tbsp corn flour For sauce: 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp garlic, chopped 1 tsp green chilli, chopped 4 tbsp spring onion, chopped 2 onion, diced 1 capsicum, diced 2 tbsp tomato sauce 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp chilli sauce ¼ tsp pepper, crushed ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp corn flour ½ cup water Method: Boil the soya chunks with all the ingredients mentioned. Drain and toss with the corn flour. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the soya chunks till golden and crisp. In a large pan heat 4 tsp oil and chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli on high flame till fragrant. Add capsicum and onion and toss for a minute. Add all the sauce and mix well. Add cornflour slurry and mix until the gravy slightly thickens and turns glossy. Add fried soya chunks and mix well.
