SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) learned very early on that no two families are identical, and that the needs of gifted families vary widely. Gifted children have different strengths, weaknesses, personalities, dispositions, and interests. Still, many gifted children may face issues such as bullying, loneliness, school boredom, and family and personal challenges. Sharing experiences with and reaching out for support from other families of gifted children is so important, and the SENG Conference as well as the SMPG (SENG Model Parent Group) offer these opportunities.
