KENJUTSU vs HEMA at Clash 4 The Cash Longsword Tournament

After training for only a year, I took the chance to challenge myself and enter Clash 4 the Cash. This was the highest level competition I have ever tried, facing off against some of the best in the world for a $500 cash prize. I am grateful for the opportunity to test my steel. And proud of the victories I took home at a competition i should have taken much longer to train for (A lot of competitors had 5-10+ years of experience). I went 3W-1D-6L, with my best achievement being fighting a very high level fencer to a draw. Every match, win or lose, I gave a good fight and excited the crowd. I was able to embody the teachings of my way, and that was more than enough. Also the clips were fire but lmk what you think :) I didnt include hit markers on this because i didnt want to imply anything about the refs calls nor my own. I will let the viewer decide who got the exchanges. I realized that in the end, it’s not about the points, the medals or the prize money.
