B-roll of Brain Radiation (2010)

Treatment of female patient w/brain cancer, using stereotactic radiation surgery (SRS). Footage includes images of an actual procedure, as screws for head frame are attached to the skull. (contains surgical images). Patient, with head frame attached, is positioned for diagnostic CT scan, to acquire images of the area of interest and to pinpoint the pea-sized tumor. Later, the patient is positioned to receive stereotactic radiation beams to the brain. The clinical team monitors the patient on a console, outside of the treatment room.
