Why Medicine? - An Evening with Professor Ntobeko Ntusi

The UCT Internal Medicine Society proudly introduces our inaugural event: "Why Medicine?" - An evening with Professor Ntobeko Ntusi. Prof Ntusi is a consultant cardiologist at Groote Schuur Hospital and the Head of the Department of Medicine at UCT. Over the course of the talk he will share with us his personal experience of a career in internal medicine. We will learn about what excites him in medicine, his inspirations and motivations, the challenges he has faced and what he has learnt overcoming them. He will also speak about his research interests, past and present. 2018 is MedSoc's first year in operation and we will also use the video to share some information about UCT Med School's newest society and the exciting projects we have in store for the year.
