Bridge farm. Bridge Farm in Cardiff is a historic farmhouse site in the Old St Mellons / Llanedeyrn area on the eastern side of the city. The main building is known as the Farmhouse at Bridge Farm, which is a Grade II listed building.  🏡 History    •   The farmhouse likely dates from the early 18th century.     •   Old maps show it as a rectangular farm on an 1846 tithe map, later extended into an L-shaped farmhouse by the late 1800s.     •   It stands beside Llanedern Bridge over the River Rhymney, which is where the name “Bridge Farm” probably came from.
