Slow web browsing? Lagging gaming? Jumpy video calls? Fix your bufferbloat! It might be your problem regardless of how "fast" your internet speed is. Bufferbloat is mainly due to your router hardware/firmware and how well it can manage multiple WAN packets at once (internet requests) so you can have it with cable, fiber, dsl, satellite, fixed wireless or other ISP's. I go thru how I changed a few simple settings on my router to greatly improve my bufferbloat score without buying any new hardware. If you don't have a router with Smart Queue Management (SQM) or Adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) you can see a few options to buy below.
