We set out from BC on a winter road trip through Washington State, chasing quiet ferry crossings, coastal towns, forest trails, and hidden giants tucked into the landscape. Over three days, we crossed the border, explored Seattle, Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo, Vashon Island, and Issaquah — following a scenic loop that avoided the rush and leaned into slower travel. Along the way, we visited several of Thomas Dambo’s larger-than-life wooden trolls, wandered mossy forests, and stopped in places that still carry the marks of their history. This video isn’t about checking boxes — it’s about the feeling of the journey: early mornings, ferry decks, winter light, and the small pauses that make travel memorable.
