Moalboal 3-Day DIY Tour Less than 10k budget per pax Day 1: Travel to Moalboal From Mactan Airport, we booked a Grab to the South Terminal Bus Station. The bus to Moalboal costs Php 209 and takes about 4 to 5 hours. We arrived at Gaisano Mall in Moalboal, where we found the tricycle terminal. The cost per person ranges from Php 50 to 100 for a ride to D'Gecko Hotel, where we stayed near Panagsama Beach. D'Gecko Hotel typically costs Php 2,000 per night, but we received a discount and paid only Php 1,500 in Airasia App. Panagsama Beach is close to nightlife and is the starting point for popular activities like Turtle Watching and the Sardines Run. There are many tour options available in the area, so you can choose what suits your preferences. That wrapped up our first day of travel to Moalboal. Day 2: Oslob and Kawasan Falls Adventure On the second day, we went to Oslob for Whaleshark Watching, followed by a visit to Kawasan Falls for canyoneering. We had booked a tour the previous night and got a package for Php 3,000 per person, which included transportation and all activities for the day. Day 3: Freediving and Exploring On our final day, we went freediving to see the turtles and sardines, just a few minutes away from Panagsama Beach. The seabed slopes down to a drop-off, where you can find the school of sardines. Early morning is the best time to dive, as the water is clearer, fewer people are around, and the turtles and sardines swim freely. Here are the rates for the activities (per person): Turtle Watching: Php 150 Sardines Run: Php 150 Environmental Fee (with snorkeling masks): Php 150 Long Fins: Php 300 We also rented a motorcycle for 24 hours to explore Moalboal. Prices vary based on the motorcycle's engine capacity, ranging from Php 400 to 800. After checking out in the afternoon, we had lunch before taking a van back to the South Terminal Station. The van ride cost Php 180 and was faster than the bus, taking only 3 to 4 hours. Once back in Cebu City, we took a Grab car to Mactan Airport, concluding our 3-day Moalboal DIY tour.
