1998 Honda CR-V Manual Transmission Conversion. Pt1 Introduction and Overview.

Hello YouTube I would like to share my progress on my transmission conversion. I am converting my automatic 1998 Honda CR-V EX Realtime all wheel drive to a manual all wheel drive. My automatic transmission was suffering from slipping at highway speeds going over passes. It would also over rev between 3&4 gears. Needless to say the overworking of the transmission had finally caught up with it. Ultimately I always wanted a Manual CRV but the current pricing and the commitment I had to this one lead me to dive into the conversion. In this episode I show an overview of the bulk of my work. I remove the automatic transmission. Install the flywheel and clutch from exedy. Install the intermediate shaft and more.
