Andi Amu, Steeplechase Racehorse Champion Photo Slide Show Tribute

I'm in the planning stages of a grand adventure, but before I start out the door, I have a couple of slide shows to upload. You could call this a test of my new hobby, but it's also a part of what I've been doing all my life, and one of the subjects I hope to cover. This first slide show is my tribute to Andi Amu, one of the horses I was in charge of while working with my friend Leslie. Leslie trained steeplechase horses as a part of a team with her husband Paddy, who was a succesful jockey. When paddy sustained a life-alterating accident it left Leslie to carry on training by herself, all the while being a mom raising 2 pre-teen children. It was then that I joined her team for the following year while she concentrated on more important things. During his racing career, Andi Amu won multipul stake races and almost $600,000 in earnings and was voted timber horse of the year in 2019 & 2021. He has now been retired to the Kentucky Horse Park, the first steeplechase horse to earn a place there. Here's a link to the horse park.
