Dr. Irfan Shahzad was born in 1976 in Rawalpindi. He earned his doctorate in Islamic Studies from the National University of Modern Language (NUML), Islamabad. He has served as an Assistant Professor in Islamic Studies at various institutions, including Fatima Jinnah Women's University in Rawalpindi, Air University in Islamabad, and he is currently serving at Virtual University in Islamabad. He is an alumnus of Government College, Lahore. He later studied International Relations at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and Media and Communications at the London School of Economics.
