Our Club, Our Family - Har Ramsbottom

Today we begin a mini series looking back through some Club memories brought to life by some of our members, players, coaches & family. #ourclubourfamily To kick off the series we begin with a man who needs little introduction. Har Ramsbottom has played some key roles in helping our club get to where we are today, here he looks back on some of his fondest memories including a vital turning point in the clubs history, the purchase of our club grounds in Ratheniska village. For those that do not know, prior to 1995, our club grounds were located in Park, just outside Stradbally on the Portlaoise road. Although quiet a suitable ground it was felt that being close to Ratheniska National School & the hub of the village would be a huge asset to the development of the club in future years & so began the process that 25 years later sees us continuing to expand & develop our facilities for the benefit of all.
