Spending time outdoors with our kids might be the only way to escape the nearly constant distractions that keep us from connecting as a family. Building relationships is like building most anything, it takes time, effort, and quite often it's the little things can make the biggest difference in the end. One on one time with our loved ones is the most important factor when strengthening a lasting connection. It's also about building up the confidence and character in each other that we all need to take on the challenges of daily life. I had a great time camping with Luke and I think he had fun too. The fact that we were also recording a video added to the experience since that's something he is quite interested in. He also helped with the editing process which he is quite good at :) Thanks, Luke! Yet again, in this video I worked on perfecting the Reflector Oven concept for the Firebox HEX Stove. I know that you're all getting tired of seeing me bake cinnamon rolls, but I just have to get this figured out. I'm determined to refine the reflector oven system for the HEX Stove to get reliable, consistent results. I want the whole system to be more "turn key" easy and fun rather than needing to constantly fiddle and adjust. I'm so close! I think it will be well worth the effort to have the ability to bake something nice while also cooking or boiling on the front part of the stove. I've also appreciating how versatile the closed off baking area could also be... slow roasting or just as a warming area. I think a thorough understanding of its potential will be vital to helping my customers get the most enjoyment (& delicious food) from their Hex Stove experience.
