I prefer the cast-iron pan for this type of recipe. 🍽💡 Find more bread recipe ideas here⤵️ • Vegan Bread 🖨️🌱🥣 Recipe: Printable recipe in my blog: https://simpleveganizer.com/no-yeast-... 🌱 Ingredients: 2 cups organic gluten-free oat flour ½ cup chickpea flour ¼ cup tapioca starch 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt (optional) ½ cup unsweetened applesauce ½ cup warm water 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 Tbsp warm water 👩🍳 Instructions: 1—Prepare Flax Egg: Mix ground flaxseed with warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it is gel-like. 2—Dry Ingredients: Whisk oat flour, chickpea flour, tapioca starch, baking powder, and salt. 3—Wet Ingredients: Combine applesauce, warm water, apple cider vinegar, and flax egg. 4—Make Dough: Mix wet and dry ingredients until you have a slightly sticky dough. If needed, add a bit more flour or water to adjust the texture. Cover with a damp kitchen towel and rest for 10 minutes. 5—Shape Flatbreads: Divide the dough into 6 portions. Roll each portion into a ¼-inch thick flatbread on lightly floured parchment paper or a surface. 6— Cook Flatbreads: Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet on medium heat. Cook flatbreads for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Cover uncooked dough with a damp towel to prevent drying. 7— Serve: Enjoy warm, topped with your favorite spreads, veggies, or dips! ✨ Tips & Notes: Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored refrigerated up to 3 days in an airtight container. Freeze flatbreads with parchment paper between layers for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge. Reheat gently in a pan or toaster oven before serving. Thanks for watching!
