I made a 16-step drum performance recorder/quantizer in the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con Garage. It lets you perform air drums with the left and right joy-cons acting as the bass and snare respectively, and it'll play it back with the hits all nicely aligned to the beat. Clicking the thumbstick wipes the current pattern and lets you record a fresh beat. It took an absurd amount of work to hook up all the nodes for this... like... way too much work. Never again. Especially because the Labo can't really handle it - it started slowing down when I was about 80% of the way through building it out. Unfortunately that makes it sound a little sloppy, which sorta defeats the point of a quantizer... but I'm still pretty pleased that my crazy idea even really worked at all!
