Hello and welcome to this special video from Angel Road which was the latest station in the UK to close. Angel Road is located on the Lea Valley Lines between (the new) Meridian Water and Ponders End. In April 2019, Angel Road station was set to close and be replaced by the new Meridian Water station located roughly 600 meters to the south with much better facilities and more services. However, the opening of Meridian Water was postponed to the 3rd June which meant Angel Road stayed open just a little bit more. With that news, I decided to quickly visit the station in it's last ever week of being open. I had to visit in the evening rush hour as the station only gets peak time services but that just meant more services running through the station out of London.
