Highland Games at Luss

This feels like it's my least favourite video to date. Because of technical issues we were hour and a half late departing, meaning we didn't have as much time at the Highland Games which, of course, has led to us missing out on some parts of the event. This has led me to not being the happiest of bunnies about the day, as well as not having as much footage to work with as I hoped.  Due to the (mis-)timings of things, did I miss out on the caber tossing? Unfortunately, yes. Did I also miss out on the Highland Dancing? Definitely yes, but from what I gather, that was mainly executed by kids that day. And I'm not a huge fan of having people in my videos, as a general rule of thumb, let alone kids (for...well, kinda obvious reasons).  There were few other things that have...ruffled my feathers, so to speak, but I'm not going to complain about them as I've already had my rant about them all. (Not like I wouldn't like to rant any further because I'm Extra (TM) 😜) Anyway! I still have thoroughly enjoyed the day, having had the venison burger (not for the first time!), and the weather wasn't actually that bad, either. The day has also birthed the idea that I also need to start my own "Not to do" list - the opposite of "To do" (or a "bucket") list, so...definitely a win? I think I still need to re-visit the Highland Games in the future, and see how that experience will be any different 🙂
