In this raw video recorded on February 23, 2016, Javier El-Hage, chief legal officer of the Human Rights Foundation (HRF), introduced two speeches honoring Venezuelan prisoners of conscience and opposition leaders Leopoldo López and Antonio Ledezma. The Geneva Summit Courage Award was presented to them by UN Watch along with an international coalition of 25 non-governmental human rights groups, including HRF. Antonietta Ledezma, Antonio Ledezma’s 24-year-old daughter, and Julieta López, Leopoldo López’s aunt, received the award and spoke very eloquently on behalf of their family members.
