Jan 19, 2025. With ample snow this winter, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to head up to the Tug Hill Plateau for some snowshoeing. This time, I journeyed to the 'East Osceola State Forest for a short jaunt out in a forest that had seen some logging in the recent past. Too bad my video camera battery died in the middle of the trek and I didn't notice until for a while. If you enjoy this video, please click the like button and/or subscribe so you do not miss any of my newest snowshoeing, hiking and/or bushwhacking adventures on the Tug Hill Plateau and beyond. Note: This video is in a raw form, that is, it has only been lightly edited, annotated and/or altered. The footage remains mostly as I experienced it while snowshoeing through the Tug Hill backcountry, just as nature intended it. Be forewarned, loud noises will arise from branches, hands, hiking poles, etc. hitting the camera. Want to help finance videos like this one?
