Here is the full recording of “EASTER CELEBRATION” — a major Easter project created in 1977 by Ralph Carmichael for his Light Records label. “The narration and music on this album present a running account of some of what happened in the life of Christ during Passover Week starting with the Triumphal Entry through the Last Supper, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Crucifixion and ending with the Victorious Resurrection.” The recording featured Ralph’s orchestra and chorus plus a number of artists from his label as well as composers from his publishing company (Lexicon Music). Ralph wrote and narrated the script, with Biblical research handled by his mother, Adele Carmichael.
