Should you get CLOSED CELL SPRAY FOAM INSULATION in your LUTON CAMPER CONVERSION? Well, we did and here's our honest review and experience of the entire process. After careful planning and budgeting, we decided to get spray foam insulation installed by PROTEC, a professional spray foam insulation company. They came to us and insulated the van on the driveway. It took approximately 2 hours to spray and was workable straight away. We highly recommend PROTEC for their service. Also, we chose PROTEC because they use Lapolla spray foam. It is water-based and made from recycled plastic bottles - Why we chose closed-cell spray foam insulation from PROTEC: 1) Highest R-Value of any campervan insulation material. 2) Closed-cell spray foam has no air pockets and doesn't hold any moisture. 3) When dry, it has a waterproof 'skin', so it acts as a vapour barrier. 4) Water-based formula so will fill all cracks and crevices. 5) Unlike other insulation, it takes half a day to install instead of days. 6) 25-year guarantee, even as a campervan. 7) Lapolla spray foam is water-based and is made from recycled plastic bottles. 8) BBA accredited.
