Fly with us into beautiful Big Bear City Airport on Runway 26. This airport has lots of transient parking and self-serve fuel. This is the highest airport in SoCal so keep an eye on the density altitude. TRANSIENT PARKING There is plenty of transient parking available at this airport. Look for the white colored parking spots for your single engine plane. Twin planes can park at dedicated green spots. There are no tie-down chains so make sure to bring your own straps/ropes. The airport provides a great parking map. Check it out here: https://www.bigbearcityairport.com/pi... FBO The airport staff serves as the FBO at Big Bear. The airport administration building has a pilot’s lounge with comfy seating and an area for flight planning. It’s usually nice and warm inside. Overnight tie-down fees are $5/night for single engine and $7/night for twin. FUEL Self-service fuel is available just west of the airport admin building. Fuel is cheaper here than most SoCal airports. Mind your density altitude! Full-service fuel is available through the FBO. RESTROOMS Public restrooms are located inside the airport admin building. CREW CAR / CAR RENTAL There are no crew cars or rental cars available at Big Bear City Airport. There is a shuttle that will take you around Big Bear City resorts and village. Rideshare is also an option. FOOD Barnstormers Café is located within the airport admin building and overlooks the ramp. You can also opt to take the shuttle into town for more food options. Big Bear has great skiing in the winter and fun watersports during the summer. There’s plenty to do whichever season you find yourself here.
