Once we’d decided on ECUADOR as our new country, we got busy figuring out where in Ecuador. Beach? Jungle? Mountains? That part was easy; we’re mountain people, and we were looking for a home in the Andes. But that really didn’t narrow it down much! There are so many attractive places for expats in the Ecuadorian Sierras. In this video, we talk about why we landed on the southern most province of LOJA before we’d ever stepped foot in the country. Loja has a A LOT going for it. It’s gorgeous, has a mild climate, and—most of all—is full of lojanos! Sure, it’s a little tricky to get to, but that’s all part of Loja’s charm.
