Relive the historic Second Edition of the World Crafts Forum in Kuwait! Held from 1–3 February 2026, the World Crafts Forum (WCF) was a landmark event for the global artisan community. Convened under the auspices of the World Crafts Council in collaboration with UNESCO, the Al Sadu Society (Sadu House), and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL), this forum moved beyond theory to bridge the gap between policy and practice. This highlights video captures the essence of three days dedicated to strengthening crafts as a driver of socio-economic resilience, cultural continuity, and sustainable development. In This Highlights Reel: From Policy to Practice: Seeing how global ideas are being implemented to support local artisans. Craft as Identity: Exploring the deep connection between what we make and who we are as a global community. Economic Impact: Insights into how craft cities and intellectual property rights turn traditional skills into sustainable economic assets. Global Connectivity: Witnessing the resonance across all seven geographic regions of WCC AISBL. A Shared Global Commitment: The Forum was an unequivocal success, not only amplifying the voice of crafts within the creative economy across the Arab States but also reaffirming a shared international commitment to protecting our living heritage. Special Thanks To Our Partners: UNESCO Al Sadu Society (Sadu House) National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) About the World Crafts Council: The World Crafts Council (WCC) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the status of crafts as a vital part of cultural and economic life. #worldcraftscouncil #wcc #wcf #Kuwait2026 #livingheritage #creativeeconomy #unesco #SaduHouse #NCCAL #artisan #agency #sustainabledevelopment
