Isn’t the Fall a wonderful time of the year? I love the rustic colours and how everything seems to have mellowed out to a soft glow. The leaves are changing colour, the berries stand alert as if little beacons of warning, the roses remain defiant and some still linger on, and although fading, the textures provide interest everywhere you look. Today’s design is for those of you who love the season and want to bring all that is Fall inside to help visually warm. Things to gather: I used a terracotta pot which I gave a quick wash or watery lick of paint to achieve more of a faded aged look. A few last season orangey spray roses Delightful rosehips Snowberries Pincushions proteas Rustic autumnal hydrangea and a few sprigs of foliage.
