The Bernina Express in Switzerland is often called the world's most beautiful railway. In this first part of a two-video series, we follow it by road, driving the middle section over the Albula Pass. The Albula Pass is a mountain pass connecting the towns of Tiefencastel and La Punt in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, or Grisons. The Bernina Express has some impressive engineering which we visit along the way, including the famous Landwasser Viaduct and a series of spirals through tunnels and viaducrts as it ascends 200m. We also visit the villages along the way including Filisur and Bergün.
