One of the longest continuously running death metal bands around today with no fall-off in output since 1990, Embalmed Souls from Brazil plays truly dark and obscure death metal, completely on their own terms. They release only demos (some of which are as long as any full length) on tape or CD-R and are more interested in producing authentic death metal and keeping the underground spirit alive than anything else. Their mode of delivery has varied slightly from release to release (this is possibly their least inaccessible release) but they all conjure up a hallmark, morbid atmosphere.
