Light flashing through building window, shot fired at cameraman, shots blurs to white STORYLINE: Tension remains high on the streets of Baghdad's Sadr City after overnight clashes between coalition forces and militia loyal to radical Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr. Gunfire could be heard throughout the early hours of Friday morning, while tracer fire streaked across the sky over the predominantly Shiite neighbourhood. At one stage, an APTN cameraman was shot at - the footage suddenly fading to white. Later in the day, militants could be seen in Sadr City carrying guns and rocket propelled grenades (RPGs). Coalition Bradley fighting vehicles patrolled the streets and gun fire continued to ring out. The fighting is part of a continuing insurgency that flared across Iraq on Friday as US-led coalition troops battled al-Sadr militia in several cities. It's the second day of fighting in an apparent resurgence of the widespread Shiite rebellion that was thought to have ended two months ago. The two days of clashes have left dozens dead and about 100 wounded, according to witnesses and officials. In Baghdad, the Health Ministry said 19 people had been killed and 111 wounded during fighting on Thursday and early Friday in Sadr City. The US military reported that 15 of its soldiers were wounded in four separate attacks late on Thursday in different parts of the capital that involved RPGs and small arms fire. The military had earlier reported seven wounded.
