Today I'm giving you my N scale layout tour. This is the first n scale layout I ever built over 10 years ago. this n scale layout is a double track mainline inverted figure 8 track plan that allows for the most amount of run on a small 4 x 8 layout. the scenery is loosely modelled after the Muskokas in northern Ontario Canada. My N scale Layout has plenty of switching to various industries. This is also the introduction to a new build series where we'll be going step by step through the process of expanding the layout. N scale is a lot harder to showcase detail than Ho scale. But n scale is great for when you have a smaller space. That’s why I chose to model n scale over Ho scale. And I like the challenge of trying to make n scale look as detailed as possible.
