Chapel Rock is a small tidal island at Beachley Point, Gloucestershire, near the English / Welsh border town of Chepstow. The ruined 13th century chapel was dedicated to St Twrog and was once the home of Tecla, a princess of Gwynedd who retired there as a hermit before being murdered by raiders from the sea.
