We told you about Tennessee's largest historically Black university's financial crisis on Monday. Tennessee State officials gave Tennessee State University over $40-million to make payroll and prop up the university for the rest of the year. The $43-million was floated to the university after 114 people were laid off and other expenses were cut to cope with a financial crisis. Dr. Ronald Johnson, the school's interim president, says the fault lies with Dr. Glenda Glover and the previous administration. Johnson says repeated poor decisions and the lack of checks and balances are why the university is financially strapped.
