Quarantine Covers SE1 #14 // The Handsome Family - Weightless Again

Do you discover new bands via TV shows on a regular basis? If you are a regular on streaming services, you might know The Handsome Family's 'Far From Any Road', which is the title track to season 1 of the HBO series True Detective. This is another great song by the duo, who have released an impressive total of ten studio albums so far. 'Weightless Again' is the opener for their third album 'Through the Trees', released in 1999 (so if you like the style, you know where to look). Personally, I'm intrigued by the eerie feel and mental images conjured up by the apathetic singing style and perfect backing vocals (which of course you will find lacking in my performance).
