Françoise Pamfil, project consultant, talk in the DIGICULT report about the grand scale of this heritage and the current status of valorizing its touristic potential. Stage 2.0 of the B:MAD project aims touristic activation and the valorization of the impressive deco-modernist heritage in ​​the central boulevards area of Bucharest. In this sense, B:MAD launched, within the ART DECO & THE CENTRAL BULEVARDS Exhibition, which took place between 17th and 26th of May 2019 during Romanian Design Week, the first Art Deco virtual tour with Romanian and English audio-guide „Bucharest: Art Deco and the Central Boulevards”, available through the izi.TRAVEL mobile app. B:MAD 2.0 invites the general public to explore an urban route that offers a new visiting experience on one of the most representative selections of Art Deco architecture in the city, a definite trait to the modern image of the Magheru, Bălcescu and Carol I boulevards, as well as of adjacent historical areas.
