Kyosho Mini-Z AWD MA-020: Modded and Drifting on Hardwood Floor

My Kyosho Mini-Z MA-020 got a few modifications inside. For example, driving the front wheels is the front one-way diff (MDW017). In the rear, we find a rigid axle (MDW024), and an 1.9 ratio counter steer spur gear. Let's drift it! This MA-020 is paired with the Subaru 2002 WRC auto scale body, at 90mm, narrow front, and 1.5mm offset narrow LF-5 wheels. At 90mm and especially with the CS mod, the rear is always ready to swing into action. The counter steer mod can be seen doing its job here. With the increased rear wheel speed, some counter steering is needed. (Hi Loki!) One additional mod I really want to do is swapping in a shorter tie bar to increase the toe out angle on the front. The steering angle of MA-020 is rather limited and a bit of toe out should help. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with how the car is configured now. It's fun and easy to drive around. Kyosho makes many beautiful narrow 90mm bodies and it's great to have this chassis around. Chassis for racing tends to have a 98mm wheelbase or longer.
